Had a good friend that owned a handful of Doxa's and he told me anything after the 750T series could have part from almost anywhere in it and to stick with the 300T, 600T and 750T and you would have a great watch! I owned a 1000T and wasnt even close to being the watch doxa was getting for it!

I have been tempted several times to buy a Doxa. I think that I would go for the 1200T if I did.

That's an excellent web site..
I have a 1000T Milshark and so far so good...The PVD is solid and no issues with the ETA 2824....I also previously owned a regular Sub1000T Sharkhunter...and had zero issues w/that one...
I think it all depends on the price point.. I bought my for $1400---would I pay retail ($2490), no way...
Cheers
Mike

Glad to hear you've had good luck with yours. I'm a bit skittish about the PVD coatings myself.

Yup, I hear you on that...some companies do a good job and some don't..I had a UTS 500 PVD that was excellent...I know it's hard to believe but Doxa does a pretty good job w/the PVD...

No, not hard at all. Never had questions about their ability to turn out a good product. I just have problems with how the treat people on their official forum. Still like many of their designs though.

Please give me your take on the 5000T (anyone). Was it before or after the 750T? (assuming after)

JAW, nice to see you!
I believe that it was well after the 750T.

Doxa did a nice job with the 5000T. They brought together all of the prior versions into a more up to date offering--still keeping with the concept of Doxa..Unlike the new 4000T..
