Sat and Sun, Nov. 12 and 13, 2011 - Weekend Wristwear

For Satuday...just back from service, my 1973 Seiko Hi-Beat. 23 Jewel 2409A running at 28,800 vib/hr, unlike most Seiko automatic movements, this one hand winds.

This watch is by far the best value on a watch. Made in Germany, has 22mm lugs instead of 24 with those monstrous squared off lugs like the Zenton M45. It's a keeper and besides I waited 3 months for it to be built and it cost less than $700.

Thanks!! I actually found it on eBay....only one available, never seen another. Looks like it was made for this watch....
