2011 - Second Watch Arrival
This is my second Stowa. I originally was undecided on what Stowa model I wanted. I wavered between the Antea Creme and the Marine Original. I first went for the Antea Creme and have been totally happy but, I still wanted the Marine Original. An opportunity came up on one of the forums and I bought it. I wanted the mechanical Unitas 6498 movement and I also wanted a dress look so when I saw this for sale I had to have it.
This is the Stowa Marine Original Roman Numerals:
PROS: Everything from the 41mm size which does play bigger, to the blued hands on front and the movement in back.
It has a crisp white dial and the strap is very soft and comfortable. The look is better in person.
CONS: Really none so far. This is a Non-hacking movement and it is my understanding that this movement with small seconds is built that way. I am not bothered by it at all.
Overall Impression: Keeper!

Good for you, John. You do a bit of research before buying, and they'll all be keepers.

Beautiful watch John! I have always wanted this watch!! I have the auto, but this is the one is the best version of the Marine series!!!
IMO - That watch is one of the best values out there. The quality is exceptional, the finishing is first class and the company is top notch!
Now....give it to me
