Mixed on that one but Cartier has a pretty solid history...
1st men's wrist watch---Santos...
Fashionable, yes....but I think there is some quality to the brand....I've always been a fan of the Santos XL and Roadster...

Santos and Roadsters rock. I've wander through the Beverly Hill Cartier store a few times, and the watches are very solid.
Cartier did start as a tool watch company, and has morphed into fashion, but the watches still have a tool feel to them.

I trust your judgment on this guys. Not having handled them all I can say is that, at least on this one, it just doesn't come through in any of the shots I have seen of it.
