Baselworld 2011 is coming...

The annual watch extravaganza is coming in a few months (3/24 - 3/31)...who knows what kind of exciting designs will debut this year. I am sure that as we get closer to the date of the show, there will be all kinds of previews for us to drool over!

The last few years its seemed as if most of the watches are pigs dressed up as princesses. I'm not excited about this one. Perhaps Seiko will bring out an inexpensive mechanical chrono line again! That would be worth being excited about IMHO.

Hey, for good or bad, they are a maker; and there are other questionables, too, as far as we snobs are concerned. I went to the LA Auto Show, and Chrysler had a booth, so...

Snob, I'm no snob. I own a range of watches from my Dorsett to my Sinn. The brand I own the most of is Seiko. I just am not into "Art" masquerading as a watch.

And I agree, like last year Paris Hilton having a booth... c'mon.

I'd like a day or two to see the real marques, then a few days to run around the Alps. My AD and his brothers went a couple years ago and enjoyed it.
