Yep, it was awesome. If I owned an Ernst Benz, I'd have worn that.

As in the red-headed guy on TV? Me, I ate roasted chicken, apple sauce, and perogies last night

One and the same, Robert. We shared testina and some calf brain raviolis, then Robin had braised short ribs, and I had quail, so our dinner wasn't a lot differennt than yours.

Tastes like beef, I could serve it to you, and not say "brains" and you'd never know.

Oh, I'm not too sure. I don't have red hair and my roasted chicken is much better than calf brain raviolis! Sorry, I'm with Duff - guess we just have peasant tastes. The perogies were excellent, if I do say so myself.

You'd never now, if it didn't say "brains" you would think it was beef, and the same with the testina, "head meat" the snout and cheeks of a pig.
And, by the way, it was peasants that first ate this way. The stuff that the elite felt wasn't edible was passed on by them. The word "awful" comes from "offal"
Lobster and crab were once considered trash food by the upper class, as they are bottom feeders.

Yes, it is. You like pork, you'd like testina. A crispy little patty o' pork.

Same stuff we ate, plus some. Respect the animal, use everything that can be.

some of the smells in that open air market were nauseating, but I love Thai food for the most part. Pickled sour bamboo shoots with hot chilis and beef stinks like hell, but Mmmmmmmmmm good!
