Last Saturday at a local Enlish Pub. Invited by Kurt (mrsnak) met him and Frank (FrankinCA), and several others, don't remember everyones screen names (I'm old now, ya know). Some pretty nice vintage pieces were brought by a fellow named Micheal. Art (a mod and writer at one of the sites, don't recall which, exactly; Puristpro, IIRC). Was an interesting few hours. I'm looking forward to the next one.

Sounds like a great time. It's nice to be able to hold and discuss the watches in real time with others that appreciate them too.

I've always enjoyed GTG's. Always nice to see and talk watches and meet people you only knew through forums.

Duff,

Glad you're out of the closet here. We're a good group that doesn't judge. Wink

Seriously, watch enthusiasts are always welcome. Everyone starts someplace and great folks can be found on every forum, even the ones I don't personally enjoy visiting. Its part of why Casio and Corum sell not just one or the other. Thread Jacked
