something new and one of a kind
I hate to post these types of topics but I'm really excited about this watch and wanted to share it.
I've been wanting to do this watch for awhile and couldn't find the right parts to get it to where I wanted the look to be. I finally found the right dial, porcelain, fine elegant writing..I had to re-size the dial to fit the case I'm now waiting for, should be here Monday and with a bit of luck should have it done soon after. I have a few issues to work out because of the thicker dial
Here is a look, more to come when finished
added 10/28
Got all the parts together Monday and finished it last night. The dial is white porcelain from a Hamilton pocket watch, I had to resize it 6mm to fit the case. German made case with sapphire, AR coating, 42mm. German made buffalo strap and pre-V buckle. To keep a classic look, I chose these gloss black leaf hands.
this was a fun build and a great look.

Really nice, Ron. I don't know why you'd hate posting topics like this, your work is really very good.

Re: something new and one of a kind
I meant posting a watch or sneak peek before it's done or arrives.
Thanks Tim
