Summer Doldrums Empty Summer Doldrums

I know things slow down on forums in the summer because of so much to do, but the participation here has become almost non-existent..........can someone, any one, explain why??

Things were going along very well here when docrwm started the forum. Then he disappeared. Not really sure why. Anyway, the forum went on sabbatical for a time. The Boss started things going again but we never got the participation we were having. People quit posting. As for me, I've had many other things going on in my life that forums have taken a back seat. Hope this helps.
