A Seiko 6309 re-mod project...

Remember this...my first watch modification project. It is a 6309-7040 with new everything except case and movement.



Well...I always wanted a 6309/7548 mod, so I did this: I bought a Seiko 7548 off eBay for the project and took it apart...quality :whatever: https://2img.net/h/i864.photobucket.com/albums/ab206/andrema_bucket/DSC00131.jpg" alt="" /> shoulderless springbars were a joy to remove...

Took the rest apart...notice the nice gasket piece that I found floating around the case...





I then removed the 6309 movement from my original mod project and removed the dial & hands.



I placed the dial and hands on the 7548...



I recased the movement and presto...re-modded seiko with a 7040 case and 7548 super quartz...
