You may be right doc. I have seen listings go on and on and on whereby the seller keeps his original sales price and I have also seen prices drop daily on other posts and some remain for sale yet others are sold quickly when whatever magic price is reached.

It's decidedly different than 2 years ago, that's for sure. I am refraining from putting several up because of this sort of stuff. I had more idiot comments and PMs the last time I put anything up at WUS than all my previous sales posts combined over 5-6 years. It was really, really, strange.

That's what happened to me 6 months or so ago when I put the Fortis up. Lectures from know-nothings about what they could get it for elsewhere. I had a macro developed that said "You are more than welcome to buy it elsewhere. Please do not contact me again for any reason whatsoever." Got lectured by one of the High and Mighty about being "mean" to members. Some dumbass self-important mods don't know the difference between Blunt and Rude (let alone mean).

I have (had) my Mido and Accutron for sale. I had no takers, no inquires. I let the post run and did not bump. Couple of weeks go by and I get an email from a buyer on the Mido with an offer $220.00 lower than my asking saying he can get it new fron an AD for $5.00 less than ny asking price???????????????????????????????

No I didn't Tim. He mentioned on line AD so I knew he was full of shit. I got mine from an AD at a great price and was selling it for a great price. There was no online AD.

Yea, I'm trying to give that one away, but so far no luck. Actually, it's only that cheap for DWC, XMT, or anybody here. WUS, and TZ has to pay a more normal price. I have one coming in, and honestly am just trying to blow that one out to get a little cash back. I'm probably done with watch buying for a while. I managed to whittle my 25 or 30 watch collection down to about 5 and quite frankly, I'm happy with the ones I kept. I'd like to see one of the regulars where I post get it, but I went ahead and stuck it on the Bay as well. BTW - glad to be here. - David
