2011 Radar Screen Update - What are you tracking?

Post by docrwm on Fri 07 Jan 2011, 10:41 am

Ok, its that time of year. What are you tracking now for addition to your collection.

Honestly, I'm not. The most tempted I've been in 6+ months is by a certain U2 but I'm just not in the market right now. How about you?

Nothing seriously being tracked, but there are a few I keep looking at.

I actually have 2 new incoming and both should arrive on Tuesday. And there are 2 but, more likely 3 that I am interested in. A Rollie (I like 3 models), an Eterna Super Kontiki Heritage 1973, and a Damasko DC67, SS/white dial.

I've seen the construction diagrams for the Bremont - very impressive.

I've always thought that Slowa was a bad choice in watch brand name, but hey whatever.

What a beauty! Invicta says it didnt copy anything, see how much different the strap looks! These asshats will copy anything they can get their hands on and a direct slap to the face of the Brothers at Bremont that put their heart and soul into this design! Granted some Chinese chop shop jumped on it but invicta had a choice of not putting their name on it and went the other direction! scumbags, all of them...... but 67 bones D!!! :Stir:

I'm very impressed with Baume et Mercier's revamped lineup coming out this Spring.

Definitely eyeing these:
AP RO
Glashutte Senator Sixties Chrono Square

Maybe:
Tudor Heritage Chrono
Something black IP with a tan vintage strap.

Fairly easy to locate and pick up one of these.

Need to see one of these live first.

Fat chance getting a pre-loved crack at this one.

Waaay out there - if ever.

That is what I wanted initially...but the black is now the favorite. I think it has to do with how it looks like on the bracelet. The black looks great on the bracelet, but the grey is touch and go...some pictures look great, others not so much! If I could see one in person, I would feel more comfortable...but no AD's in the US Pound Head

I stumbled on a piece that I've seen in wruw thread before, and really liked... never really like, "Oh I have to have it" but just always really liked it. Now we're trying to get it. Still not rushing, if it's still there when we get everything together, cool, if not, I'll live.

I know I've posted the pic a few times, but it was as a joke man. Seriously, your wrist just won't handle it!!
