Ok, lets see your nomination for Busiest Dial Ever on a mainstream watch brand

Post by docrwm on Fri 07 Jan 2011, 10:40 am

Like the title says - let's see some nominations for busiest dial ever on a mainstream watch brand.

I keep looking at this one whenever someone posts about it and thinking - could it have more text? Could it?

Tim,

That dial itself is busy because of the texture IMHO. The other content looks pretty typical.

Mark,

In a sense of fairness it should be noted that the first one is a Citizen knock-off of an Invicta Original.

I guess it's age but readability of the dial is fast becoming a much higher priority for me. I love Chronos and some have many scales and are readable, others not so much. But when a 3 hander has a huge # of words, slogans, etc. ad nauseam it just makes 0 sense to me.

The old JSAR is nice...the new hands really stink. The red tips look like nipples...maybe its the perv in me, but that is what I see when I look at it!

That second Citizen Skyhawk in Mark's post would confuse me, but then Duff confuses me, too. Huh?
