Skully needs a RUBBER
Okay, I still haven't been able to find a worthy rubber or silicone strap for Skully and the VERY COOL skull buckle sent to me by Robert. Mark gave me a couple links but nothing that I felt was "perfect" for this combo. I did see a Hirsch rubber strap that caught my eye but way over priced! So I'm still in search. If anyone has anymore links to some great rubber straps, post em up!

I have liked some of the straps and rubber that I have gotten from International Watchman and his prices are the absolute rock bottom to boot!

Tim, Tim, Tim...that was a picture I didn't need!!!! I'M BLIND! MY OPTIC NERVES ARE FRIED!!! But really, great offer buddy. The lugs of the watch and the buckle both require 24mm. Many of the ones I like are 24mm at the lug but 22mm at the buckle.

Re: Skully needs a RUBBER
Ah, oh well, since it came from Noah, and it fits Seiko, 22mm is the size, at the lugs.

Re: Skully needs a RUBBER
Sorry its a tough one Duff. I seem to recall that 24mm was the smallest that they had.

Nope, Isophane drops to 22mm at the buckle as well, but thanks for the research Mark.

Re: Skully needs a RUBBER
most rubber taper, save the cool buckle for another project and buy a hirsch extreme... i know they arent cheap and have to come from Europe but the a friggin cool looking and i'm going to get one in 24mm and use it for my seal, zilla and a couple other watches! If you want something special and different it's the way to go!

Re: Skully needs a RUBBER
I don't think so. It looks like a dual deployant. The one rubber strap that really catches my eye and it just won't work with Skully. Oh well, the search continues.

Re: Skully needs a RUBBER
How about Maratec? Syntheitic, size is right. I have one that is black with red stitching.

Re: Skully needs a RUBBER
Thanks John but I'd really like a rubber dive strap. I know they're out there...somewhere. My only other choice might be black buffalo.

Yes I did John, but I think they all taper 2mm at the buckle end from what I can tell.

Re: Skully needs a RUBBER
I'd contact them Duff. A few of them are listed as Panerai style so they may be same width the entire length.

Re: Skully needs a RUBBER
I think the only ones that don't taper are the double tang straps. The skull buckle I'm planning on using is a single tang, but I'll try getting in touch with them.

Re: Skully needs a RUBBER
All the rubber dive straps taper. They have some in leather and shark. I just think if I'm going to remove the bracelet, rubber is the way to go.

Re: Skully needs a RUBBER
The one I listed Duff is 24/24mm. The lug end is 24mm with a flare over the lug and then it narrows back to a 24mm at the buckle.
