New G-Shock Releases by Casio - March 2012

The prolong flood that afflicted much of Thailand last year not only caused damages equivalent to US$ 45.7 billion dollars. It inadvertently demonstrated the frailty of modern supply chain, especially those related to electronics. Now, after months of recuperating, Casio is ready to gain back some lost momentum in its G-Shock division with an extensive March 2012 collection. In addition to the much talked about GW-M5610TH-1JR, a collaboration with Los Angeles clothing label The Hundreds, the month of March will see designs from several popular G-Shock series. There is the GW-2310BD-1CJF from the subtle Black x Gray Series. Several from Solid Colors Series, a popular feature which originated from Baby-G, are also available. Then is the well publicized Bluetooth Collection,Casio's attempt at transforming the lowly G-Shock watch into a real-time personal communication hub. In fact, with 17 models available, there is bound to be one for you.

I am no G expert, but these strike me as just more of the same.

These are pretty hi-tech! Some have bluetooth connectivity. It can stream information from various sources.

Some others are Atomic and are updated several times throghout the day.

Bluetooth is an interesting feature. I have to do some reading on that technology and how it is incorporated into these Casio watches!
